Drummonds have their own independent trial site in Drogheda to evaluate new varieties of all crops and work closely with the Department of Agriculture,food and the Marine with potential seed varieties.

FODDER CROPS – AN OPPORTUNITY TO CUT COSTS!
Fodder crops offer farmers an excellent alternative feeding strategy for wintering livestock. They are a very cost-effective way of supplementing livestock rations particularly during times when fodder may be scarce.

Crop Trials
Drummonds operate their their own independent arable trials programme, focusing on cereals and oilseed rape. The trials are fully replicated and professionally managed and are used to test the complete range of commercialy available cereal and oilseed varieties. focusing on cereals and oilseed rape.
