RESEEDING PLAN OF ACTION – BACK TO BASICS

1. Identify those fields for reseeding based on content of weed grasses and overall paddock performance.
2. Spray off the old sward with the recommended rate for the particular Roundup brand you have purchased.
3. Address any drainage issues, conduct a soil test & apply necessary lime, N, P & K.
4. Select the most suitable grass seed mixture using the best varieties available.
5. Decide on method of reseeding & prepare a fine, firm seedbed sowing ideally in warm moist conditions.
6. Roll well.
7. Monitor for slugs & other pests.
8. Apply post-emergence weed control.
